Please read these Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs) carefully before making a purchase from this site. By placing an order with Lieta Marziali Contemporary Jewellery you agree to be legally bound by the following Ts&Cs.

Purchasing products from my online shop is strictly limited to parties who can lawfully enter into and form contracts in accordance with English Law. I reserve the right to refuse any order placed. I also reserve the right to prohibit orders that in my sole judgement appear to be placed by distributors or resellers.

While I will make every effort to ensure that products' descriptions and images are accurate, products are sold "as is". If an error is found before dispatching your order, I will get in touch as soon as possible and offer you the opportunity to re-confirm your order. Please note that your web browser or monitor might cause slight variations in the way you view the actual colour of my products, and I cannot be held responsible for any such variations.

Pricing is correct as displayed at point of order. Payment is in Pounds Sterling only. Exchange rates, when applicable, will be handled by third party payment processing gateways used by this shop (Paypal and Braintree). I will not be liable for any additional charges to you caused by transaction or exchange rates costs imposed by Paypal or your credit card provider.

Shipping costs will also be displayed during the checkout process. For countries outside the EU, please note that you will be responsible for any extra costs such as import duties as applicable in your own country.

I accept payments via Paypal and Visa and Mastercard (through the Braintree payment gateway). Please refer to their websites for information on transaction security. Should you not wish to use one of these online methods of payment, please contact me with details of what you would like to order, and I will email you an invoice for payment via bank transfer.

Payment is taken at point of order. All products remain the property of Lieta Marziali Contemporary Jewellery and will not be despatched until full payment is received.

As part of my ethical policy, whenever possible I try to reuse packaging materials such as tissue paper, bubble wrap, padded envelopes and parcel boxes. Larger, more delicate items will be packaged in a simple recycled, reusable and recyclable craft box. Smaller and/or flatter items such as earrings will be wrapped in tissue paper in order to keep both use of materials and postage to a minimum.

I will endeavour to despatch any item within 2-3 working days of receiving your order.

UK only - Individual smaller / flatter items (max width including envelope 2.5 cm) up to a retail value of £75 - These will be shipped via 1st Class Royal Mail Signed For service

UK and rest of the world - Orders over £50

These will be shipped via Royal Mail UK and International Tracked and Signed For services:

- for UK orders Royal Mail will guarantee next working day delivery by 1pm for UK orders;

- for orders outside the UK, Royal Mail aims to deliver to Europe within 3-5 working days and worldwide within 5-7 working days.

If you need express despatch or a faster delivery than the above services will allow, I will do my best to accommodate your request but please make sure you get in touch with me via the Contact page before you make your purchase as the cost may be higher than those displayed at checkout.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to me in all its original packaging within 28 days of receipt (proof of your postage required).

Returned items should be unworn and unused, and should not in any way have been damaged or blemished. They must be returned in their original branded box with any enclosed documentation, all of which should also be unblemished and undamaged. I will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. Alternatively, if preferred, I will also be happy to exchange the item. However, if on inspection the items appear to be used, worn, damaged and/or blemished, I reserve the right to refuse both refunds and exchanges.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches me. Therefore, I recommend that you use protective packaging to further secure the product and send the parcel using a recorded and/or trackable delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. I cannot be held responsible for items that go missing in transit.

Please note: As part of my ethical policy, whenever possible I try to reuse packaging materials such as padded envelopes, boxes, bubble wrap and tissue paper. If you are returning an item, please consider being kind to the environment by reusing as much of the original packaging as possible, as long as you think it still offers adequate protection.

The cost of returning the item to me is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty. While I cannot be responsible for refunding any local import duties you may have paid on receipt of your items, you may be able to recover these from your local customs department on production of proof that you have returned the items.

An exchange or refund will be given for goods which incur damage during transit from me to you or in the, hopefully unlikely, event they present a fabrication fault upon close inspection when you unpack them. Items which, after 28 days, become damaged due to normal wear and tear, including changes in colour due to exposure to skin and the elements, or customers not following care guidelines (see Care of Jewellery & Repairs page) are not eligible for refunds or exchange.
